CCI: Journey Through Lent

One of the central ideas which Jesus taught was that we should share what we have with those who are less fortunate.

ACTIVITY ONE

Have you ever taken part raising money for a special appeal?

In a group try to work on different examples to show:
Who did you help?
How much did you raise?
How was the money used - what difference did it make?

Can you make a list of the different people who Jesus helped?

ACTIVITY TWO

Do you only help people you like - or do you help as many people who need you as you can manage?

How did you feel?

What do you think Jesus meant when he said 'Love God and love your neighbour as much as you love yourself'?

Was he right?
